I will work to ensure Moorhead retains its reputation as an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family. Community, Collaboration, Creativity and Communication are the cornerstones of my campaign and are the strategies I believe will move Moorhead forward.

I have been a resident of the Ward 1 community since 1992. I served on the Moorhead School Board for 14 years and have been on the Moorhead Public Service Commission for 3 years.
United By A Common Goal
Collaboration, Communication, Community and Creativity
- Collaboration with nonprofits, business, government agencies and other stakeholders to find unique solutions for the development of downtown and the resolution of the future of the City Hall/Center Mall complex.
- Communication between the City Council and the people they represent is essential for the Council to be informed of constituent needs. It also encourages transparency which builds trust among our residents. Finally it is a way for residents to have input about issues important to them.
- Community focus is essential to ensure the basic human needs of our residents are met for our most vulnerable populations, and uphold human rights for all our residents. Basic needs include opportunities for work, recreation/arts, food security and affordable housing.
- Creativity in budgeting and financing city projects. For example, while State and Federal support for cities incurring COVID-19 related costs has been provided, the crisis is far from over. The budgetary ramifications have yet to be fully realized and this could have an impact on future city projects and priorities.
